An honors graduate
of the avant-garde and prestigious Chelsea School of Art and of Ravensborne College of art
and Design in Kent where she not only completed a three year course of intensive fashion
and textile training but was formally introduced into the fashion trade by working
on a weekly basis with some well established international designers mainly based in
England. Also for the first time all her designs were put on the catwalk in a formal
showing.
With this solid grounding in art and design and related
studies, she returned home to Riyadh to set up ALMULTAKA with the hope and aspiration of
giving life to a niche where all arts met and where all aspiring Saudi and Arab ladies
gathered under one roof.
A melange of all aspects of Art and design, beauty and
aesthetics became ALMULTAKA, in English the meeting place or the rendez-vous for all the
above.
